I moved into a new ward a few weeks ago, and it's been a good experience so far. Last night was a RS retreat where we went to a cabin somewhere in Spanish Fork Canyon. The cabin was super nice, with tons of rooms and plenty of things to do and look at. But it was nothing compared to nature itself. Star gazing last night and then pondering about life in the "woods" this morning were both incredible experiences.
I'm so grateful for nature and the way it reminds me just how much God really loves me.
I'm glad you're liking the new ward! I must say I agree with you about nature. Star gazing is one of my absolute favorite hobbies. And what more could one want than a Father who loves them, and that they love back?
